6 sumber persediaan menghadapi ujian Aptis

Kursus Professional Up-Skilling for English Language Teachers (Pro ELT) bertujuan meningkatkan profisiensi guru Bahasa Inggeris, sekali gus dapat membantu meningkatkan prestasi murid dalam mata pelajaran itu.

Kursus Pro-ELT yang diperkenalkan sejak November 2012, dikendalikan sepenuhnya oleh British Council. Ianya merupakan satu kursus secara kelas dan online selama 40 minggu atau secara kluster intensif 3 bulan, membekalkan guru kemahiran untuk melaksanakan pengajaran yang lebih berkesan.

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia menetapkan sasaran profisiensi guru BI ialah pada Band C1 atau C2 (pengguna mahir/cekap) berdasarkan sistem penarafan Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Ianya merupakan antara 7 inisiatif penambahbaikan yang dicadangkan oleh makmal khas yang diwujudkan oleh KPM untuk memperkasa Bahasa Inggeris dibawah Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM). Setiap peserta kursus wajib menduduki Aptis Test sebagai ujian pra dan pasca dan jika menguasai dengan band C2 atau C1, ganjaran wang tunai menanti mereka.

Librivox is a good source of classics recorded as audiobooks by volunteers. The quality of the books may vary a bit but if you want to brush up on a classic for free, this is the site for you.

Audible is a great source of audiobooks with over 150.000 titles ready to download in a few clicks. This is a pay site but they do offer e free trial with two books available if you sign in with an amazon account.
